Bengaluru: Now, electrical shocks worth lakhs await flood victims returning home

With rainwater that flooded roads, houses and apartment basements receding, many of the affected residents are now coming to terms with the financial consequences of the havoc. Experts say individual households will have to shell out Rs 7 lakh, while large apartment complexes will have to spend up to Rs 50 lakh to replace the electricity infrastructure to ensure safety from electrocution in future.
